Impact of Pupil Premium expenditure

as measured by 2019 results

Our Progress 8 score for 2019 is 0.52 and our Progress 8 score for our disadvantaged students is 0.57. This data clearly highlights that the provision we put in place last year to diminish the difference between our disadvantaged students and other students at GCSE has had a significant impact. In particular we feel that the small group tuition sessions provided by departments to support revision and to consolidate knowledge has contributed to better outcomes. Commitment to supporting extra-curricular activities and school visits has also had a positive impact across the board.
